Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)

AGTC has a competitive artistic program that starts as young as age 4 and goes all the way up to age 16. This program encompasses Ontario Development Program (ODP) and Ontario Compulsory Program (OCP), stretching from level 1 all the way up to National level 10. An assessment must take place before joining the competitive team to ensure you are placed with the proper group for your age and level.
Pre-Competitive ODP & OCP  5&6 Yr Olds

Our Pre-Competitive program is geared to children who show the potential for Competitive gymnastics programs. Our Pre-competitive athletes train a minimum of 6 hours per week and can participate in ODP competitions within Ontario when we see they are ready. This introduction to competition is fun and encourages positive participation.

Pre-Competitive ODP & OCP 7&8 Yr Olds

Our Pre-Mini 2 & 3 program is geared to children ages 7-8, who show the potential for Competitive gymnastics programs or who have advanced beyond the Mini 1 program. Our mini 2 & 3 athletes train a minimum of 9-16 hours per week and can participate in invitational OCP & ODP competitions where they present their routines & skills for judges.

Invitational OCP Team: Levels 1-6 Ages 7+

Athletes in the Invitational program train 8-20 hours per week and compete at the at invitational copetitions. The 1-6 level gymnasts compete at 3-4 competitions per year within Ontario. These athletes are also invited to compete at an away competition at least once per year. This gives the athletes the opportunity to compete for both team and the individual awards.

Provincial Team: Level 3-5, 6 – 10, Ages 9+

Athletes in the Provincial program train 20-25 hours per week and compete at the Provincial level. The provincial level gymnasts compete at 3 provincial qualifying competitions in order to qualify for the provincial level championships. The provincial championships allow gymnasts the opportunity to compete for both team and the individual awards.  These athletes are also invited to compete at an away competition at least once per year. This gives the athletes the opportunity to compete for both team and the individual awards with team mates in order to test their skills in a competitive, team atmosphere.

National/Elite Team: Ages 8+

Athletes in the Elite program train 25+ hours per week. They may have modified school programs in order to accommodate their training schedules. These gymnasts usually possess Olympic level skills. AGTC’s National/Elite athletes compete at various Ontario competitions throughout the year and have the opportunity to compete both in Canada and the USA.

Men & Women’s Tumbling & Trampoline (T&T)

AGTC’s tumbling & trampoline competitive program is an intense discipline designed to support our athletes both Male & Female by encouraging them to set goals, develop self-image, physical and mental strength and work at achieving them in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Our highly successful competitive tumblers experience a sense of team pride through their accomplishments.

Trampoline and Tumbling consists of four events: Individual, synchronized or double mini Trampoline as well as power Tumbling. Trampoline and Tumbling are high flying, fast moving sports. Athletes perform similar acrobatic skills as in Artistic Gymnastics, but they do so with greater speed and height.

Invitational  Team: Beginner – Advanced Levels, Ages 7+

Athletes in the Invitational program train 6-12 hours per week and compete at the at invitational competitions. These athletes compete at 3-4 competitions per year within Ontario. These athletes are also invited to compete at an away competition at least once per year. This gives the athletes the opportunity to compete for both team and the individual awards.
